İKSV Dreaming Istanbul Competition

While cities were places where people gather for production at first, in the 21st century, on the contrary, they have turned into a mechanism that consumes people. Clear lines have been drawn between the city and nature and people. Today, changing environment and conditions force humanity to change. As the population increases, it will be realized that the environment is destroyed to feed it, the production areas are increased and the meaninglessness of transporting products with energy not from longer distances will be realized. At the same time, the intense psychological pressure of the cities will lead people to get out of them, but they will have to go further to escape. For this reason, cities will be redesigned with the inference of good environment and good people. With this radical change, cities all over the world will be affected and Istanbul, one of the largest metropolises, will take its share. This high green areas and agricultural areas design has been developed as a proposal to solve these problems.

İKSV İstanbul'u Düşlemek Yarışması

Şehirler ilk başta insanların üretim için toplandıkları yerler iken 21. yüzyılda tam tersine insanları tüketen bir mekanizmaya dönüşmüşlerdir. Şehir ile doğa ve insan arasına kesin çizgiler çekilmiştir. Günümüzde değişen çevre ve koşullar insanı değişmeye zorluyor. Nüfus arttıkça onu beslemek için çevre yok edilip üretim alanlarının arttırılması ve daha uzak mesafelerden olmayan enerji ile ürün taşımanın anlamsızlığı fark edilecektir. Aynı zamanda şehirlerin yoğun psikolojik baskısı, insanı içinden çıkmasına yönlendirecek ama kurtulmak için daha da uzağa gitmesi gerekecektir. Bu nedenle de iyi çevre iyi insan çıkarımıyla şehirler yeniden tasarlanacaktır. Bu kökten değişim ile tüm Dünya’daki şehirler etkilenecek ve en büyük metropollerden biri olan İstanbul da bundan payını alacaktır. Bu yüksek yeşil alanlar ve tarım alanları tasarımı bu sorunları çözmeye yönelik bir öneri olarak geliştirilmiştir.
